The appreciation Tom Clarke^® has for Shelby cars goes back to the early 80's, from his first Mustang GT two weeks after he turned 16, after saving for years as a very young entrepreneur.

Tom and Gary Patterson, President of Shelby America and Shelby's senior test driver, chatted back and forth about the build...Gary is not only the President of Shelby America, but many would agree he is a Shelby historian. Tom decided, with Gary's council, that this was wonderful car to add to his private Tommy Cars, LLC^® collection, being an American-built icon in the official Shelby Registry, to catalog authentic Shelby cars to preserve their history.

A Distinctive Beauty

The legendary 1967 Shelby GT 500 was a beast. And with today's engineering, and access to advanced materials such as carbon fiber, restomods allow older muscle to now compete with exotics. Carroll Shelby himself said that carbon fiber was the future of American sports cars, and now it’s here. The completely carbon fiber body perfectly matches Carroll's vision. The Shelby GT500SC 900c has three translucent stripes overlaid on the raw carbon fiber, with Alcantara throughout the Shelby GT500 Cockpit.

Supercar Performance

The carbon fiber body reducing weight, while increasing the horsepower through a Ford Performance Crate Engine Coyote Gen3 5.0/302ci crate motor combined with a Stage 3 Whipple Super Charger is simply a joy to experience. A monster has been brought back to life from 1967 to a modern-day, performance to weight ratio of a super car. Shelby started on the racetrack and the 1967 Shelby GT 500 is now back with additional features in this custom build:
